UPDATED: much better colours
! This is an image from the oriental fairy tale "Prince Ahmed and Fairy Pari-Banù". Of course, here she is making an enchantment (in order to help him, who is her husband)!
The lineart was copied from the original picture, and is this:

(sorry for the bad scanning), so it was not just like the reference. I decided to retouch some details, as always (lips, eyes, hand). The reference is an original illustration by Lima:

(the colours were affected by different types of scanning in the reference and in my work, so they seem more different from each other than they are; anyway, the brilliancy of the original colours was hard to imitate) . It was made in 1966 for an illustrated series of fairy tales. Besides the books, they made also several editions of the series composed by books+records (and later, in the years, the records were replaced by cassettes and then by cd's, with mp3 too, lately). They are the renown "Fiabe sonore" (Sounded Faity Tales). The copyright of the most recent series (including the lineart) belongs to Fabbri Centauria srl.I tried my best to colour it with Caran d'Ache and Faber-Castell watercolour pencils, Giotto Laccato coloured pencils, Giotto Turbocolor markers, a Faber-Castell PITT artist black pen, a mechanical pencil, HB pencil and a rubber.

!Questa è un'immagine tratta dalla fiaba orientale "Il principe Ahmed e la fata Pari-Banù". Naturalmente, qui lei sta facendo un incantesimo (per aiutarlo, lui è suo marito)!
La traccia è stata copiata dalla figura originale, ed è quella riportata in alto, perciò non era proprio identica al modello. Io ho deciso di ritoccare alcuni dettagli, come sempre (le labbra, la mano e gli occhi). Il modello è un'illustrazione originale di Lima, e potete vederla qua sopra (ho usato diversi procedimenti di scansione per l'immagine mia e per il modello, il che li fa sembrare più diversi di come siano in realtà, ma comunque la brillantezza dei colori originali è stata molto difficile da imitare). Fu fatta nel 1966 per una serie illustrata di fiabe. Oltre ai libri, sono state fatte anche diverse edizioni composte da libri+dischi (poi i dischi, negli anni sono stati sostituiti dalle cassette e dai cd, alla fine anche con mp3), le famose "Fiabe sonore" (potete trovarle in edicola anche adesso). I diritti dell'ultima serie appartengono (compresa la lineart) a Fabbri Centauria srl.
Ho cercato di colorarlo meglio che potevo con matite acquarellabili Caran d'Ache e Faber-Castell, matite colorate Giotto Laccato, pennarelli Giotto Turbocolor, una penna per artisti nera Faber-Castell PITT, portamine, matita HB e una gomma.
